Description The furniture features curved and moving lines, typical of the late Baroque style, with a strong emphasis on the scenography and dynamism of the shapes. Made of walnut burl, with inlay work and evident ebonized threads, a common technique in Lombardy in the 18th century. The upper part is a two-door display cabinet, with original mercury mirrors, and a strongly shaped hat. The lower part consists of a central flap, with an internal writing desk, and drawers below that are curved on the front. Sides of remarkable concave forging. The whole rests on shaped truncated pyramid supports. Dimensions 153cm x 52cm h:229cm Provenance Private collection Conditions Defects and restorations.
