Beautiful shallow fir larder – 18th century
Solid and scenic larder made of solid fir, from the Lombardy or Veneto area and dating back to the 18th century. The two doors feature diamond-shaped panels framed by molded profiles, carved from solid wood, framed by uprights with a projecting panel with a shaped profile. It ends at the top with an elegant architectural hat with different orders of molding, executed with a sure hand and eighteenth-century taste.
Inside we find three shelves and at the bottom two comfortable drawers made very fascinating by the beautiful eighteenth-century iron handles. Excellent state of conservation, beautiful also the back all nailed with square nails, restorations and integrations present only in the feet.
This larder or small wardrobe has very beautiful proportions, shallow, ideal for elegant rustic environments, historic kitchens, taverns or as an element of character in contemporary interiors.
