George III sterling silver coffee pot, William Cripps, London, 1762.
Of baluster shape on a domed circular foot, with a shell-capped volute spout, opposite a C-scroll wooden handle, attached to shell and scroll decorated sockets. The hinged, double-domed lid is surmounted by an artichoke finial. The body features a contemporary embossed decoration with floral bouquets and foliate scrolls. An escutcheon is engraved on one side.

Condition
Slight signs of wear and superficial scratches. The four hallmarks are present on the base of the coffee pot, while the lion passant is on the side of the lid.
