Description
George II sterling silver lidded ewer, London, 1734. Flared body with subtly molded stepped circular base. Finely chiseled floral and foliage engravings on the surface, heraldic coat of arms engraved in the center of the body. Domed lid with chiseled floral decorations, hinged and surmounted by a shaped grip. Expanded spout with decorative openwork. Shaped and curved handle.
