PAIR OF GILDED WOOD SCONCES SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
Elegant pair of carved and gilded wood sconces with pure gold leaf. These refined sconces are equipped with two lights each and are electrified. Their peculiarity lies in the art of carving: at the center of the sconces are carved delicate faces of imaginary birds, finely worked, from whose beaks branch out the two arms that support the lights. The arms have a curved shape and are embellished with geometric decorations, giving them an elegant and sophisticated appearance. This pair of sconces represents an object of great taste and refinement, capable of enriching any environment with style and class. Italian manufacture, from the Napoleon III period, around the second half of the 19th century.
