Six palace wall lights in carved and gilded wood and glass
Six palace wall lights in carved and gilded wood and glass, h. 110 cm.
The elegant shape of these important wall lights refers to the neoclassical style of the late eighteenth century. They feature vegetal and floral decorations that develop from the bottom, with different fruits, flowers and foliage, up to the top, decorated with volutes and an inverted flower in the center. They bear two candle arms in the shape of a flower stem with a bellflower-shaped base for the candle. On the upper part in the center of the wall light there is a mercury mirror.
