Superb box, with the typical urn shape of the Charles X era. Plated in tuja briar, with ebonized profiles. The lid is enriched with light-dark herringbone inlays. Opening the box, a mirror was placed under the lid; then finds a removable compartment top in blond maple, underneath there is a secret compartment: by lifting the short right side strip, the tablet can slide sideways and reveals a space. The box is equipped with a lock (not working) and its key. The rough part below has four small fillings, in my opinion it had some support feet, now missing. L
