Jewelery box in ebonized wood and ivory, finely and richly inlaid. On the bottom there is the mark of the cabinetmaker Ferdinando Pogliani Ebanista Milano. In good condition: it has a slight swelling on the left side of the lid and has undergone a small restoration on the right side (see detailed photos). The key is not present. Ferdinando Pogliani. Milan, 1832- 1899. Cabinet maker and inlayer. He opened his workshop in Milan in the second half of the 19th century, first in Porta Vittoria and then in via Montenapoleone. He works there with his sons, Giuseppe, an engineer who deals with the architectural design of furniture
