Venice (Late 16th century) Jewelery casket Lacquered and gilded wood, dimensions: 33 x 39.4 x 29 cm The casket, made of wood and crystal, is characterized by a rich golden decoration with a floral theme. Each side is decorated with four half columns. The lid opens revealing the same rich decoration also inside, a characteristic that attests to its precious use as a jewelery box and certainly not as a reliquary. The state of conservation is perfect.
