Face of a smiling girl in signed Bronze
Bronze made in France in the second half of 1800. The technique is that of lost wax, which consists in creating a clay mold on a wax cast and then, after having let the wax come out, pouring the molten bronze. The mold is then broken to recover the casting, which is therefore unique and not mass-produced. The proposed figure is the face of a smiling girl. On the shoulder the signature "Péchin d'aprés Donatello" The fusion can be separated from the red marble base, and has a plaster cast inside with two holes that allows it to be stably positioned on the two iron nails that come out of the base. The bronze has a beautiful burnished patina. Its height excluding the base is 35 cm
