Embossed copper basin, Tuscany, 16th century
Copper basin, elegantly embossed in two orders of dense elongated pods interspersed with a smooth step. Brim with turned and beaten edge. A first corolla of ovoid nail-like pods is born from a small raised central round. Then a small smooth circular step slightly raised, from which a second very dense crown of elongated clove pods departs which ends under the brim. This comes with the external edge turned and beaten. Particular mention should be made of the great quality of the embossing, perfectly appreciable even on the back of the splendid artifact. And to the patina of the object. Dimensions: diameter 38.5 cm x depth
