made in France based on the sculpture of the same name by
Rembrandt Bugatti (Milan 1884- Paris 1916)
The body of the feline, with well-defined muscles, is crouched on the ground and
holds the food with one paw while biting it.
Engraved on the base is what appears to be a copy of the signature R. Bugatti
The bronze, made with the lost wax technique,
dates back to the first half of the twentieth century
Excellent condition with dark green patina
Weight of the sculpture approximately 15 kg
