PAIR OF NEOCLASSICAL CANDLESTICKS LATE 18TH CENTURY
Elegant pair of single-light candlesticks, made of statuary marble and mercury-gilded bronze. The candlesticks are distinguished by a high pedestal base and an amphora-shaped marble body, enriched with festoon decorations and handles with gilded bronze masks. At the top, stems of flowers and leaves develop, and the candle holder, also in plant form, all in gilded bronze. The gilding is original. This pair of candlesticks, of great elegance and refinement, is perfect for furnishing any environment with style and elegance. French manufacture from the neoclassical period, datable to around the end of the 18th century.
