The candlesticks have a richly chiseled stem with rocaille elements and phytomorphic tendrils that twist around the central axis, creating a tortile effect that gives movement and slenderness to the structure. The base is mixtilinear and stepped, also moved by rocaille ornaments. The gilding is made with matte gold and polished gold, finished with agate stone. The candlesticks are very decorative and can be used, for example, on a surtout de table or on a set table. Rare in these dimensions, they have often been used on writing desks.
