Carved and silvered cherubs Late 1700s
Carved and silvered cherubs Late 1700s in excellent condition. It is a cloud-shaped base from which two heads of winged angels emerge with their gaze turned upwards where the cross was originally positioned which was grafted onto the base through the upper notch. The base is completely silver-plated in leaf with slight traces of oxidation and in some points the ocher preparation of the bole can be seen. It is of Italian origin and dates back to the second half of the 1700s. Measures cm. h. cm. 14 - width cm. 18.5 - depth cm. 13
