Rare rectangular bronze plaquette depicting the crucifixion, made by Moderno, the leading medalist of the fifteenth century. The plaquette shows signs of wear. Examples of the same engraving are kept in the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum and the Bargello Museum. Provenance: Italian auction house. Dimensions cm. 12.4 * 8.8
