Cloisonné wall stoup
Metal wall stoup with Cloisonné enamel,
France second half of the 19th century.
They were usually hung in bedrooms
and the small container at the bottom contained holy water
for the sign of the cross before prayers.
Made of bronze with cloisonné enamel
which decorate the oval frame, the lateral points and the cross at the top,
as well as the container at the bottom.
In the center a painted ceramic oval
with the image of the Madonna embracing the child
In excellent condition with no cracks
