PAIR OF WHITE MARBLE BOWLS, 18TH CENTURY
Elegant pair of bowls in fine white Carrara marble, made in Renaissance Medici style and shape. The bowls have a lobed body and are supported by a raised base, which adds a touch of refinement and majesty. A peculiar characteristic of these bowls is the presence of a hole in the center, designed to allow water to drain away if they are used as plant pots. This functional detail blends harmoniously with the classic and refined aesthetics of the bowls, giving them an aura of timeless elegance. Tuscan manufacture from the second half of the 18th century.
