Magnificent pair of French cobalt blue glazed porcelain vases with rich applications in finely crafted bronze. The porcelain, of a deep blue color, is embellished with elegant cold-applied golden floral decorations. The vases feature an ovoid structure on a raised base, supported by a bronze sculpted pedestal with a fluted column that opens onto four stylized lion's paws. The lateral handles are characterized by classical female figures cast with extreme attention to detail in the faces and hairstyles. These vases are emblematic examples of the Napoleon III or "Second Empire" style, characterized by the fusion of neoclassicism and ornamental splendor, typical of late nineteenth-century Paris.
