Rare and unusual carpet with an Aubusson design but of Chinese manufacture from a few decades ago: probably made on request. The design and colors faithfully reproduce an antique French Aubusson from the Charles X era (1810) that I had about 30 years ago. The workmanship is entirely on a manual loom: it is absolutely not a "needle point". The conditions are perfect and the structure is firmly anchored on cotton - nr. 670 -
