Tribal carpet from the Afshar nomads (southeastern Iran), first half of the 20th century. The field is entirely decorated with the classic "Mina Khani" pattern (rosettes connected in a lattice), framed by a border with stylized bird figures. Made of hand-spun wool with traditional colors (indigo, madder red, ivory, light blue/green). Structure with red wefts, typical of Afshar weaves; probable symmetrical knot. Dimensions: 208 × 140 cm.
