Particular Persian carpet KASHAN "panorama" with woods, probably taken from a European painting; certainly chosen to be hung like a painting. However, the subject is unusual, as the Persian wall rugs almost exclusively reproduced scenes from ancient miniatures or from Omar Khayam's Rubayat. It was combined with the other similar: forest with deer. Both were part of a private collection. cm. 104x59.
