Turkish carpet of old manufacture woven in the city of Keissary, the ancient Caesarea of the Romans. The coral red background brings out the minute stylized floral design covering the whole field and enclosed in a simple gray-blue frame with minute flowers. The peculiarity is that it does not have the usual classic central medallion that sometimes gives problems in the setting. Measure cm. 293 x 199.
