Antique, splendid, and rare Caucasian KAZAK carpet, dated 1335 (= 1919) with a rare lavender color: the true indigo! In the center, a row of polychrome hexagonal medallions, enclosed in multiple borders with minute designs: the number of borders testifies to the importance of the carpet. Truly fascinating. It measures cm. 295 x 126. For the setting of such a size (called "kalleghi"), advice is available.
