Ancient splendid example of Caucasian KAZAK carpet with "botteh" design (almond). The polychromy of the colors stands out on the blue background (much better than in the photo!) And the "abrash" (horizontal streaks of color) increase its charm. The state of conservation is, to say the least, perfect. It is one of the rugs I love in my collection. Believing it dates back to the early years of the twentieth century. measure cm. 192 x 124.
