Exceptional antique KIRMAN RAVAR carpet with a pastel green background and rose garlands: a unique piece.
The beauty and quality of this carpet need no comments or descriptions: it was the first carpet in my private collection and I am only putting it up for sale now. It is clearly inspired by a French Aubusson.
The state of preservation is very good, despite its age: it could be from the late 1800s. In some areas the pile is slightly more worn, but the knotting is dense and compact.. nr. 105.
