Persian carpet KUM or better GHUM - nr. 354 -
Refined example of GHUM of the Pahlavi dynasty, in a very fine fine wool "Cork" and many motifs in pure silk, especially in the vases and bowls represented. When I had admired those objects, they were in the museum of the royal palace in Tehran and were traceable to the "darvishis". In this carpet many details are in light silk, just to give brightness to the carpet made in an unusual gray, actually very elegant. Carpet that deserves to be set in a living room, even a modern one, perhaps all in ivory or white. Measure cm. 308x207. (price for closing activity).
