A fine example of Malayer, one of the most famous ancient Persian carpets, often in large dimensions because it is intended for important salons. This one has the classic blue background enclosed in a red garland and four frames to highlight the quality of the carpet. The design is a very stylized floral, repeated throughout the field, typical of the Malayers. Measure cm. 350 x 162. As always, I am available for furnishing advice.
