Rare Samarkanda carpet with "vases": six vases of different sizes and peach blossom branches are represented on a warm "shoking" pink background. The edge, of a pale jade green, encloses pink peonies; the whole is finished with a small yellow inner border. ref. no. 1417 - measures cm. 340 x 170 -
