Antique Sarough runner, one of the best Iranian qualities: a rich polychrome floral decoration, dominated by light blue and blue, covers the red background. The Sarough is truly one of the best Persian carpets: this dates back to the first decades of the twentieth century.
As I have said several times, a long and narrow carpet should not only be understood as a runner: there are many other ways to highlight it and take advantage of its quality and beauty.
