The manufacture and decorative scheme refer to the Saruk production of the Arak area, known for the quality of wool and the brilliance of colors. Condition reportThe carpet has some defects: fringes cut on both sides, edges to be consolidated and some cuts/openings in the pile, as documented in the photographs. Restoration work is therefore necessary to restore it to optimal conditions. Despite this, the carpet retains a pleasant chromatic impact and remains an authentic example of Saruk weaving.
