Antique Moroccan TARAUDANT fine carpet
Rare small artifact or silk carpet from Taraudant, the city with mighty walls, in the High Atlas. It has a very fine knotting in hand-spun silk, which makes it more like a tapestry than a carpet. It probably dates back to around 1930. Measure cm. 148 x 116. Suitable for wall mounting or resting on a table. nr. inv. 1119
