Moroccan carpet of old manufacture, coming from the village of Ait Uagharda, with a rather elaborate geometric layout, if we think of the simplicity of most of these rugs, woven for the internal use of nomadic tents. Given the size, it was probably woven for an important curtain, using light colors and precise geometric designs. Wool hand spun and dyed with natural substances - This carpet is part of my private collection, already admired by the Moroccan Minister of Culture who has set up a specific exhibition. cm. 325x138 - nr. inv. 1158 -
