Turkish carpet fabric entirely hand embroidered by Turkish girls for their wedding trousseau, according to an ancient tradition. It can be used on the wall or on a table or on a sofa: it is completely in hand-spun wool and dyed with vegetable substances. Measure cm. 230 x 161 and dates back to around 1950. It may even be older and have been passed on to the daughter by her own mother. no. 788
