Moroccan Rug AIT UAGHARDA - n. 1158 -
Old Moroccan rug, from the village of Ait Uagharda, with a rather elaborate geometric design, if we consider the simplicity of most of these rugs woven for internal use in nomadic tents. Given its size, it was probably commissioned for an important tent, using light colors and precise geometric designs. I find it truly interesting.
Hand-spun wool and dyed with natural substances - This rug is part of my private collection, already admired by the Moroccan Minister of Culture who set up a specific exhibition.
