Old Moroccan carpet, from the village of Ait Touaya, where they were woven on a loom by women - they spun the wool by hand and dyed it with vegetable and mineral substances. The design is simple and geometric. The use of blue is rare, as in this case.
This carpet is part of my private collection, already admired by the Minister of Culture of Morocco and exhibited in an exhibition. With its blue background color, it is also suitable for a seaside home.
