Crystal balloon chandelier first half of the 20th century
Hot-air balloon chandelier in gilded bronze and crystals, Empire-inspired from the first half of the 20th century. From the classic circular teardrop structure, the chandelier has two circles of acanthus leaves in gilded bronze one at the top and the other larger in the center, from which cascades of strands of faceted crystals depart in gradation. The chandelier conceals 9 lights which, illuminating the crystals from the inside, once turned on enhance the refraction effect, giving it greater brilliance and splendor. This type of chandeliers are in fact called hot-air balloon or milleluci precisely due to the precious and scenographic effect of the decorative crystal elements illuminated by the
