Huge Art Deco triptych clock in marble and bronze - France 1920s
Huge Art Deco triptych in black belgian marble, red jasper, bronze and brass. Rich and accurate decorations with feline heads and finely chiseled scrolls. Clock with circular dial in enamelled porcelain, with Roman numerals. 5-light candlesticks with amphora-shaped stem with molded handles and square bases. Majestic, scenographic and exquisite workmanship piece of furniture, full testimony of the transition period between Art Nouveau and Art Decò. Clock mechanism with missing pendulum (winding key present). Good conservation conditions; small lacks, old restorations and natural age patina (as shown in photos). Solid and very heavy.
