Large Napoleon III clock in marble and gilt bronze -Bourdin- France 19th century
Large Napoleon III table clock in gilt bronze and white and gray marble. Upper sculpture depicting two rods standing out on a riot of rich festoons and embossed decorations. Circular dial in enamelled porcelain, with Roman numerals. "Bourdin - Horloger du Roi - Paris" machine. On the back it bears serial numbers and winning engraving "Medaille d'Argent". Watch mechanism in perfect working order (winding key present). Very good conservation conditions, small lacks and natural age patina (as shown in the photos). Solid object with a truly remarkable weight. France, mid-19th century. Overall dimensions: cm 56 x 16 x 49 h.
