Elegant table clock with a curved case, made of hand-carved and ebonized wood, decorated with lost-wax cast and gilded bronze details. Brass inlays on the wood further enhance its refinement, featuring plant and geometric motifs that recall the patterns and construction techniques of the famous 18th-century French cabinetmaker Boulle. The clock mechanism is in perfect condition and has a striking mechanism that chimes the hours and half-hours, with weekly winding. The dial features Roman numerals, while the case can also be opened from the front, has glass on the front, and also has glass on the sides. The pendulum, in gilded bronze, depicts the typical 18th-century sun. On the front, below the dial, the inscription "Henneger Lyon" is visible, referring to the French cabinetmaker from Lyon, while the numbers "239" and the words "Bailly Weibel - Lyon" are stamped on the mechanism, attributable to the French watchmaker also from Lyon. This clock is unique and represents a refined piece of furniture, capable of tastefully embellishing any environment. French manufacture from the mid-19th century, in Louis XV style. Dimensions: H x W x D 57 x 30 x 18cm
