Collectible icon - Moscow School - Early 20th century - Cm 27.8 x 30.3 Beautiful, perfect in its state of conservation, this depiction of the Archangel Gabriel shows that even the remaking of images related to the high era was always very topical. This Archangel Gabriel written in the manner of the greatest iconographer that Holy Mother Russia had, Andreij Rublev, is one of the last icons painted in the twentieth century, before the Russian Revolution. It has probably come to us in some forgotten and recently reappeared room. A good cleaning and a restoration of the original beauty bring it back to history
