Devotional Icon - Northern Schools - Late 17th century - Cm 24.5 x 29.8 This beautiful representation of Mary is an unusual canon and its importance owes it to the state of conservation and, above all, to the high age. Some conservative interventions, and perhaps restoration in the part below the figure of Mary, have, very partially, reduced its intrinsic value. But all this is largely compensated by a very limited and, perhaps, even laughable commercial evaluation. Not to be missed.
