Collectible Icon - Late 18th century Gold background - Cm 35.2 x 30.5 Beautiful and surprising for the state of conservation of the "gold background". This work of Ancient Art is meticulously written by a skilled late 18th century iconographer who operated his knowledge in a prestigious school like that of Yaroslavl. The preciousness of similar works lead us to think that these kinds of Ancient Art were very important in the Slavic Orthodox families.
