Splendid pair of 6-light wall sconces, made of gilded iron and carved and gilded wood. The sconces feature a hand-wrought and forged iron rosette, for fixing to the wall, which supports the arms. The rosette and arms of the sconces are finely decorated in a floral style that evokes interwoven grapevines. These elegant wall lights were typical of late 18th century Tuscan villas, and are still of great value and refinement today, and are able to give a touch of class and antiquity to the environment in which they will be placed. The wall lights are already wired and in excellent condition. Tuscan manufacture from the late 18th century. Measurements: H x W x D 41 x 44 x 34cm
