Pesaro, 1616 Allegory of Summer Polychrome majolica plate with inscriptions: “In Pesaro PSP” and “Istate del.1616.”. Diameter 36.8 cm. The dating, in addition to increasing the importance of the plate, is a clear document capable of demonstrating that in 1600 the Pesaro furnaces were still active. Bibliography: T.
