16th century Spanish Morion
Interesting Spanish Morion with high crest for castle use (lighter than those for battle, intended for use within the walls) from the private collection of the Peruvian General and President Miguel Iglesias (1830-1909).The helmet has two visible engravings near the tips, probably made to display the helmet.
Signs of hammering and small restoration interventions are visible.
Provenance from a Spanish auction house.
