"First study for the Ascom prize"
Mixed technique in pencil, charcoal and light risers in white lead on cardboard, measures cm. 50 x 70, signature on the lower left. The very original composition represents a city of skyscrapers and complicated viaducts, articulated in a complex scenario of machines and enormous productive gears; at the center of all this, sitting above the mouth of a gallery that seems to swallow a river in the belly of the city, an ironic little solitary fisherman with his line coming down to the water (detail photo 1). As the writing on the back of the cardboard indicates, it is a first study for the work with which the painter participated in the ASCOM prize, over the years
