Anonymous author of the late sixteenth century, early seventeenth century.
Oil on panel depicting a woman who
holds a swaddled baby in her arms.
A precious medallion around the baby's neck
bearing in the center the image of the Madonna with baby Jesus in her arms
The woman's clothes and the baby's swaddling are decorated
with a blue lace band enriched with fringes.
Poplar wood panel with gilded frame, not from the same period.
Good condition, does not require restoration
