Umbrian painter (16th century) - Madonna with Child in a landscape (Madonna Conestabile).

Oil on canvas applied to panel, in gilded wooden frame.
- The work echoes the painting “Madonna Conestabile” by Raffaello Sanzio (Urbino 1483 - Rome 1520) located at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Presumably executed by an Umbrian painter active in the 16th century who may have seen the work live and who proposes it with some small variations and a rectangular format different from the original.
