Large, unpublished oil on canvas by Jacques Courtois, known as "Borgognone" (Saint Hyppolite 1621 – Rome 1676), depicting a battle scene between a knight and a drummer. The quality of the painting is exceptional. Restored. Gold leaf frame. Technical data sheet, references, and attribution by the historian Alessandro Agresti, dating the work to approximately 1660. Dimensions 147 x 105 cm. Frame included: 165 x 128 cm. Private negotiation.
